Recipe Autumn Maple Pear Pie

Ingredients :

  • 1 Pie Crust
  • 3 Tbsp. Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 tsp. Apple Pie Spice
  • 6 Cups Peeled-Thinly Sliced Pears (6 Medium)
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 Egg, Lightly Beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Water
  • Caramel Topping

Method :
  1. Place pie crust into pie dish and preheat oven to 375°F
  2. In large bowl, stir together brown sugar, flour, and apple pie spice.
  3. Add pears and toss gently to coat.
  4. Transfer to pie crust and drizzle with maple syrup.
  5. Trim pastry even with plate rim, place top crust and crimp edges.
  6. In small bowl, combine egg and water, brush crust with mixture.
  7. Tent pie with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake 25-30 minutes or until pears are tender and filling is bubbly.
  9. Let cool on wire rack and top with caramel topping.
